Re: Jon's G9 build
I have Plowmans clutch kits in all our G9 golf carts. Best upgrade with out going to a clone or big block.

Re: Jon's G9 build
Dumb question? What is the clone engine? Is it a China motor or Japan motor?

Re: Jon's G9 build
How much does the clone cost and how fast will your G9 go now? Mine goes about 20mph with the stock motor.

Re: Jon's G9 build
I'm almost done with my supports for my front basket and I can also use it for a future spot to weld a roll cage. I will connect the front to the rear with two 1" square tubes.

the clone dosnt go much faster but it gets there a lot faster. on hills it dosnt lack for power like a stock engine will. i got my clone for $275 from harbor freight.

Looking good! To bad there wasn't away to get your tube routed on the outside of the cowl though.

Re: Jon's G9 build
I was going to, but It was a lot weaker out from the frame and It was a lot more work. If the body wasn't already beat up I would not have cut holes in it. I think it looks cool in person.
