1990 ezgo . engine 244cc
will this engine fit in my 1990 ezgo , it has a pg3 robins 244 cc motor in it now , and i would like the extra hrp if i can get it , if so if i rebuild the motor i have now can i get it to around 11 hrp ? or buy this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/EZ-Go-golf-c...item5ae3b72bdc

It can be made to fit,but you won't have reverse.Your current setup runs in reverse when you select reverse,There is no transmission.You will have to upgrade to a 4-cycle rear-axle(89-94 Marathon 4-cycle is a bolt-in),or go without reverse.Hope this helps.

well that shoots that idea , lol what if i bore it what kinda hrp you think i can get out of it . I tested the compression today and got aq real bad test think like 43. But i didnt have it tight on the plug area only finger tight ( no tools with me , but it is hard to belive because this thing rolls right along . So ill try it again.. with tools this time.
