yes it does but this is just a bunch of techs having fun with with a new cart it does not mean that it is right or wrong but having fun and learning what the can and cant do what it can take and what it can not

If someone wants to take this info and do what was said then it is on them this is just a info site that is all

the thing is with yamaha warranty very rarely does anyone ever come out and inspect the cart for a warranty claim. I have adjusted the gov on every gas yamaha i sold.

even adjusted the gov and a few cables on a shuttle and it was going 23 with my gps.

sometimes you have to do what the cust wants to make them happy. But i was a small dealer and yamaha left me alone. My rep even told me a few tricks to do.

If you want to get technical putting a lift kit on a yamaha also voids the warranty.

Anywho: the delaer should gt theirs within the next 2 weeks. can't wait to go try it out.

i no longer work at my local dealer, i ran it for little over 3 years. I had 9 yrs prev exp with BMW (as a tech)and i know work for Mercedes as a tech. But still fool with carts at the house.

I don't see a lift kit doing much damage. I do belive Yamaha has a 4 year warranty if the engine goes or starts to rattle they won't just hand over a motor to warranty it. And if they did come out to inspect it would be shady of the dealer to adjust it back just my opinion. They don't have that govenor there and set on the cart because it looks pretty.

Just talked to the local dealer and they got their FI drive yesterday. gotta go check it out.

talking about motors i put in a gas motor in a security cart back in january it only had little over 300 hrs and 4 oil changes. lock up tight. warranty paid for new engine w/o question. they just sent the old one back when they called for it, no inspection was done by yamaha.

I just said lift due to thats what my rep told me if something happens the warranty could be voided. he was just givin me the heads up.
