Default 2004 ezgo txt project motor choice

I am new to the forum n have read for hours. Learned lots. I've only played with '80's marathons. In need of a hunting cart able to pull 4' cultipacker, light fence type drag, fert spreader, n carry my 25 gal liquid sprayer. The last marathon I built is perfect except for the 2pg dog. I hav bought a '04 txt n am not sure of a 14hp - 23 HP 4 stroker. Wana use stock rear end. I'm aware of the new mounting bracket needed. Not sure how much torque n HP needed. Dnt need 50mph but 30 wud be nice. Gona go with long travel kit. Also need advice on tapered n non tapered shafts n appropriate clutch. A torque monster is the goal without breaking dwn. Help :). Pics in about a week wen I pick it up.

Also I'm leaning towards the briggs vanguard 18 or 21 cause of the price. Any guds or bads with Honda, generac, kawi, or clones??

Herm,
Polaris-Ranger 400.......At some point, dollars vs. dollars. work vs. work, the choice should be obivous. Not knocking carts, but work is work......get a work-machine. I'm a little biased tho.....

I get that but the work machines r huge $. My marathon did jus what I needed only at a snails pace. I do hav a compact tractor for the heavy lifting. I jus read wer sum had 21hp engines n wer pulling wheelies n leaving black marks LOL dnt need to much HP as my 73 year old father helps with food plots. Not sure wat u get per engine, dnt wana snail or a pulling tractor... Jus in the middle
