Proper spark plug for 88 EZGO
I am about to replace the plug in my 88 ezgo, but the present plug does not seem to match what I can find for recommended. Parts manual calls for part no 16430-G1, but when I shop for the number I get a NGK BPM4A. The plug currently in the cart is a NGK BPR5HS-2.

My 88 gets a steady diet of NGK BP5HS and seems to be perfectly content :)

Generally they are between $3-$6 depends on where you go.

Re: Proper spark plug for 88 EZGO
Just an FYI, but always a great idea to keep at least a spare or two around, especially considering this isn't a plug a lot of places (other than EZGO dealers) tend to stock (not to mention they tend to foul rather easily) .... If you watch Ebay, you can generally grab a case of 10 for under $20 shipped - it's sorta overkill, but TRUST ME you'll be glad you have them around when suddenly your cart won't start one day, etc

My local oreilys had them in stock. I bet napa too has them and I'm not a betting man.

NAPA here in town (Lake Geneva, WI) didn't, and the closest place I found was 40 miles away in Milwaukee - if you CAN get them closer though, belay the previous post !!!!

Yeah I guess if you live out of town or in the sticks ordering them would probably be the most viable option.
