That's the same size as the HP3004 belt.

FWIW, Amazon has the HP3004 for $39 and free super saver shipping.

Does this mean the belt I have on is way too short?

Does anybody have the Gates number for a stock sized belt for a 2PG motor?

Cause the NAPA in my town hires the finest idiots/asshats.

I'd go for the HP3004 from Amazon.I just did and it's a bit of an effort to get it on, but they sent the right belt and it works wonderfully.

So, let me get this right before I order parts. (I can get stock belt cheaper on Amazon than the shorter one.) So, I'm double checking things.

~The shorter belt theory, you will get more low end torque, but will you loose top end? (from what I'm gathering, since I'm new to this)

Oh sorry.I misread you earlier. You wanted a stock number.I do not have that. The HP3004 is a shorter belt by about an inch.It will give you more climbing ability at the expense of top speed.
