electric carts only why wouldnt they allow gas carts there not that loud and how would someone drive the miles to and from there campsite on an electric cart !!!! you have to be over 16 that sucks

Electric only, at any given time their can be well over 1,000 carts on the road. It would be hard to control the noise factor on some gassers along with some that burn oil and smell. I know 90% don't they just don't want the 10% that do.

Not only do you have to be 16 but your cart that you bring into the part has the be insured. The 16 year old rule is VERY important at a park like Ocean lakes with such a large younger crowd your going to have to many BAD drivers that don't know how to handle a 4 way stop and other crossings. Thats why you also need to have a drivers license.

I take my sparkie on 10-15 mile trips every weekend with no trouble. I also drive it to work every day during the spring & summer when it's not raining.

Yup! We contract with the local "Head Start" program to do all the service & repair work on their busses.
