Angry 1992 ezgo gas 295cc robins engine

I've installed a rebuilt engine in my cart. Engine turns over but wont fire. there is spark to both cylinders, gas seems to come out of carb into air box. plugs are dry after attempting to start. Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Valve adjustment is off it should be .004 for both , also check your timing belt marks and make sure they are aligned correctly

K..... Engine was rebuilt by a reputable shop that should know that.... But I'll check ..would that be why gas is blowing out of carb...instead of sucking air... Thnx for advise...

Valves can be checked but do you really have to pull drive clutch off to get belt cover off to check alignment...if so dou know how to pull drive clutch...

Very likely, wrong timing. Check installation of timing belt.

Unfortunately, yes, the primary clutch has to be removed. Lousy designers at Robins.
