Default Converting to premix gas on G1

I have looked for a thread and could not find the specifics for bypassing the oil injection system and using premix gas. Do I leave the oil tank on and just empty it-disconnect it or do I have to plug something? Thanks

If you wanted to be quick about it you could disconnect the hose between the oil injector and the carb, then just plug it at the carb. Then leave the tank and the injector just the way it is. Or if you had the time, pull the clutch and remove the plastic gear that runs the oil injector, remove the injector and make a plate to bolt where the injector was , remove the tank. Your gonna want to premix 80:1. If your cart is stock with no lift or no hard riding you could even mix it 100:1

I ran at 80:1 for two years, then 100:1 for almost a year. No ill effects. It was noticeably less smoky at 100:1, smoother running, less oil drip from the exhaust pipe. I disassembled the engine last fall for an inspection, still see cross hatch in cylinders, no wear lines, no ridge. My cart is lifted, and I run it pretty good, not grandma style. Still looks new.
