Default 2007 yamaha clutches

hello. just wondering what is involved in servicing clutches on a 2007 yamaha cart . how do i grease them and so on. i dont see any grease fittings on either clutch.

Sorry to say, the "Team" clutch's have no "zerk" fittings and really are not very good to begin with. You can take the secondary clutch assy off, and with a snap ring plier tool, take the assy apart (not hard because the spring is so soft) and grease the sliding sheave bushings. Erlandson makes a heaver rate spring (Tom @ CPP a site sponsor probably has them also). Primary clutch...don't even want to get into that mess. Yamaha doesn't sell the Team clutchs anymore and have updated them both with new style greasable clutchs, but you should buy both and a J55 drive belt also. Might give Plowman's (site sponsor) a call, he seems to be a go to guy for YAmaha's from members posts.

Call and ask to speak to don at plowmans carts. Those clucthes are pretty crappy but don can turn them into a gem for you.
