Default marine batteries

Can I use 4 deep cycle Interstate batteries (Group 29)to replace the 4 Club Car batteries that are now in the cart instead of the unseal golf cart batteries?

I have 4 marine batteries in my 98 CC DS and have been running them for over a year now with no issues. The cart was given to me without batteries in it. So I just upgraded my boat batteries and put the old ones in my cart. Doesn't seem to last as long as my other cart with 6v but it works. Just my 2 cents.

The answer is no , no , no - never use marine grade batteries allways use deep cycle , bite the bullet , spend the money to do it right , also get 6 volt batts instead of 12 volt

marine batteries is a cheap way to go. run time will be very short and the batteries wont last very long. you would be better off buying cheap golf cart batteries than any marine battery
