g1 starts then floods
i have a g1 engine that starts and runs a little then floods out
i pulled the plug and turn the engine and lots of raw gas comes. i could use some help trying to fix this |

Remove carb and drain gas from bowl. Lay out some clean paper towels on the workbench. Disassemble bowl, float, and needle. Spray carb cleaner backwards up the main jet from the bowl area. Spray out the bowl. Make sure the spray will get through the passages. Let it dry. Reassemble. Reinstall. Vroom vroom!

What slonomo said. Also, make sure your choke linkage is adjusted properly so that the choke is fully off with knob pushed in. Good luck - RAY
