Lube driven clutch splines?
I'm guessing the inner part (sheave?) of the driven clutch is supposed to ride in & out on the axle splines.
If so, should the splines be given an occasional dose of PB? Thx in advance. |

Re: Lube driven clutch splines?
No it doesn't ride in and out. The spring compresses and spreads the sheaves. I use grease the spline when I remove for cleaning or inspection to prevent rust water and seizing of any kind t aid in removal.
