Default Changing bushings and shocks on a 2003 ez go

Pretty new to working on my golf cart. Have changed the spark plugs, fuel filter, and timed the valves on it. Looking to change the front shocks and bushings on it and was wondering how difficult it is? Also should I do the back around the same time? Thank you!

The shocks on a golf cart are not like the shocks on your car. Think of them more as dampeners. If you grab a GC shock and move it up or down, it will stay where you put it. That is normal and does not indicate a need to replace. That being said, if you feel the need to replace them, it's as simple as unbolt the top nut, bottom nut, compress shock. I believe the nuts are either 9/16 or 5/8 SAE. Five minute job.

Our GC just seems to ride more bumpy then others. Just got 4 new tires on it and seemed to help a little. Not sure how else to minimize the rough ride besides a lift kit?

If they are 4 ply try 15psi even as low as 12psi could be ok. Test it and see.

Will do. Odd but it makes sense in regards to how much tread is touching the ground.

Keep in mind the pressures stated on the sidewall are not recommended pressures. They are "not to exceed" pressures. You have to determine the correct pressure for good tire wear, performance, ride quality, and safety.

Due to combined on and off road use I run 8psi in the front and 14psi in the rear. My cart has a very heavy, large steel box with wood side boards and frequently hauls from three 60lb dogs to five or six 50lb bags of potting soil, fertilizer, etc. not to mention pulling trailers with firewood, top soil, and other sundry materials. If my cart were a standard cart or with rear seats empty 10-12lb in the rear would suffice. But I don't do any high speed pavement driving that might require more sidewall stability.
