Default 2000 EZGO 295cc Head Gasket

I am rebuilding my Robin's engine. My rebuild kit come with a shiny metal head gasket and a white metal head gasket. My question is which gasket goes on first? I see where both has up on them. I'm guessing the shiny metal one should go on first. Thanks

HOLD ON!

You only use ONE head gasket! I am betting the kit is for a 295 or 350.

Your going to use the one with the smallest piston hole that matches the block.

OH NO! I went ahead and assembled it with the two gaskets before I got a response. I was pushing for time. The gaskets looked real similar. Do you think this will cause a problem? The kit I bought was only supposed to be for a 295 engine. I guess they sent me the 350 as well. Thanks

Well never seen that done before.

I don't think it will work for long, BUT who knows??

the one thing you have going for you is this is a air cooled engine, so you not trying to seal water passages!

But I think the gasket will blow. I you still have it out I would go ahead and change it.

When I got my rebuild kit for a 295 it also came with a 350 head gasket. I had to look at them closely to see the difference, not much!
