Not sure what TS is........

Tim is partially right, when Crown processes warranty claims, the 6th digit is an identifier of what battery it is. So I guess more explanation is needed. Some customers remove the labels for whatever reason, this digit on the date code permantly identifies the battery type.

Crown has also added 4 more digits (after a space) following the original 7. The newer 4 represents time (24 hour format). Crown's line #5 is solely dedicated to manufacturing the 165's, so the extra digits allow accountability.
