2016 YRDE stalls under load

Hi all my cart has been running great and last night when I went to move it all was fine until I applied more than 50% throttle then you hear the motor sputter a little (with a small whine and it stalls)

If I flip the tow switch and back to run it will drive as long as I keep it under say 50% throttle (can drive around like this) but once you apply more throttle
It sputters and then stalls out

Any tips on what this may be I searched the forums and could not find a definite answer any help would be appreciated !

just checked the voltage on the batteries 5 are ready 8.5-8.6 and one is reading 6.5V. Total voltage reading is 49.2 or so, not sure if this is something that could be causing this?

The battery reading 6.5 has failed. I bet it drops like a rock under load.

you are correct sir, the more and more i read i see that this one battery seems to be the cause of my issue.

coming from the non electrical world its hard to believe that one battery at 6.5v will cause the whole cart to just shut down, but once again im not an expert and im sure there is good science behind this.

will replace the battery and see if this is the culprit !

threw in a new battery and back up and running, runs much faster now to battery must have been going out slowly once i bought it.

How old are your other batteries? It is sort of a bad deal to only replace one. You are going to now have an unbalanced pack. When the other ones go bad, you will still have this new one but it will be the weak link then.
