Yamaha Drive2 and Club Car HP
Hey everyone.....new to the group as of today. Wife and I are wanting to replace our old cart and considering a new Yamaha Drive2 (AC motor) and a Club Car HP.
We did a short test drive with both yesterday and honestly liked them both quite a bit. Club Car was more substantial in build and extremely comfortable, but we were both impressed with the ride of the Yamaha. The cart will be staying at our little beach place and will be outside full time (we will use a storage cover). Anyone have an idea of what the long term life is realistically looking like for Yamaha chassis in southern/salty climates? Any pros/cons of the Yammie over the Club Car we should consider (other than the better price point)? We have local dealers for both that are actually both highly rated, so I would be completely comfortable with either on the service end. Thanks for any thoughts! |
