Default Alltrax sr48500 and sw 202 install help

So I'm midway through my install on my 2000 ezgo txt. I went through Scotty's walkthrough and grabbed a couple photos to aid me. I'm finding one of his photos to be different from the included directions and im wondering which one is correct. I shot him an email but it is Sunday and I'm hoping someone may be able to clarify this. Here are the two pictures

When in doubt follow the instructions versus some outdated photo found online from a previous version of the contactor.

The new SW202 has magnetic breakout which made the cable change necessary.

So which is correct? The text says "the lug connection for controller B, cable 3 may appear on either side of the contactor." The picture from the same instruction sheet says that B+ is the bar on the top. I have b+ hooked to the bar on the side and it is working but just want to know if I should swap them.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Follow the picture in the instruction.

Thanks for the reply. Seems something changed with the contactor? There was a guy on the FB group that just did his and it was wired the way the text says but I also noticed that his install instructions were from 2017. Just wondering if I should inform him that he may have old instructions. Great kit by the way. Made a pretty good improvement on acceleration. Installation was easier than I thought it would be.

One other question while I have your attention. There seems to be a bit of delay from when the pedal is pushed to when the wheels start turning. I'm guessing this is due to the controller now getting it's power from the pedal. Would there be any adverse effects to powering the controller off of the key switch? I'm thinking this may eliminate that delay? I know I would have to remember to turn the key off to avoid leaving the controller powered for long periods of time.

Your FB friend may not have the same unit. Our instruction changed because we upgraded our units. You can power the control from the key - just be sure to always turn it off when not in use.

Try it with a jump wire and tell us if it eliminates the lag.

Just tied the red controller power to the green wire coming from the key switch. It did eliminate the lag. Must have just been the time that it takes the controller to "think" once it receives power. If there is no harm in it, I'm going to run it this way.

We run our Marathon conversion that way. Just be sure top turn the cart off when it's not in use.
