Re: G9 back from the dead
So we were trail riding with this golf cart yesturday and one of the kids said that he was getting shocked when he touched the seat handle and the ruber part on the front cowl at the same time. So i tried it and it shocks but its not very strong. So i took a look at the wiring but i dont see anything wrong or bare!!!!!

Re: G9 back from the dead
If you are using a frame ground for the lights, change that, run the ground to the battery.

Re: G9 back from the dead
Every thing that i have added to the cart has been right to the ground on the battery. I can remember when i first put the engine in and the kids were riding it around in the yard in the dark, i could see a small spark going from the motor to the frame like the spark you see from your spark plug but it ran good and i never realy thought more about it until yesturday when we got shocked.

Re: G9 back from the dead
Very nice job on the G9. That color looks close to mine. Mine is Cinder Red base coat and Kandy Tangerine and clear coat. Approx 3-4 coats of each. It also has a plasticizer in it because of the plastic body. Great job!! Keep the pictures coming!!!

Re: G9 back from the dead
Yours looks very nice. i like your lights for the front of yours but i want the ones from THE NEW GUYS G9. Thats the style i want but i know they dont make them anymore so if anyone has some used ones they have removed or dont use please let me know. I used led flashers in the back of mine and they have 21 different flash settings on them but right now i have them set as running lights. i cant run a top on mine with all the trail riding we do and i had to put smaller tires on the front of mine because when we go trail riding they rub. i plan on getting some pictures when we go trail riding and post them.

Re: G9 back from the dead
I have a top that we just took off a G16 that you could make work on a G9. I also have an aluminum bed that we took off the same machine. I took pictures of them last night and plan on putting them on E-bay.
