Cart sputters

I just whent through a round with the rev limiter. one time I could turn 3700. Next time it would come in at 1800 and shut down and tough to start. Unhooked the rev limiter and now it runs like a champ.

Thanks to all the replies. I installed a new ignition coil. The cart is running like a champ now. Thanks again:
