Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
Yep, but only newer G22s and YDRE (drive). It has to be done by a dealer, and they have to buy the code, so they will charge for it too.

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
they require headlights, taillights, and a sticker/reflector package. I had it done to by 2007 drive but with everything (lights/reflectors/etc) I was into it for over $300.

Lights and a sticker package only, no turn signal or seat belts?

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
mine didn't require turn signals or belts? Just the lights and reflectors. Maybe it depends on the dealer?

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
The dealer I bought mine from charged me $50 to have it done. I am only getting 16 mph out of it right now, so not sure if it was really done. could be the temp outside though.

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
Mine was $179, I had the light kit, but he charged another 30 for the reflectors. I was also given the paperwork from Yamaha and the warning sticker on the steering wheel which prove it was done. Havent really had it out yet here in Minnesota to check speed. hope to soon.

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
I got nothin. Suspicious. I called them and the guy I bought it from said he did it personally.

Re: Yamaha Programming for 19 mph?
If you look at your controller, it should have 2 stickers on it (instead of one), second sticker will have "ptv speed code - ######". If you feel you are not getting the speed you think you should, check with your dealer about "technical bulletin gc2012-10a". This ONLY covers 2010-2012.5 models with sn range of jc1-000101 through jc1-300299.
