Exclamation Rear Seat Kit for Yamaha G1??

Hey guys I'm new to this group and just have a few questions about the Yamaha g1. Why are there hardly any rear seat kits????? Is there something different about the g1!? It seems that I can find a kit for every single Yamaha golf cart out there EXCEPT for the g1. I am trying to buy myself a 4 seater cart but the best I can find are 2 Yamaha g1s and I'm hoping to find some kits. I do not have the time or skills necessary to build my own, so does anyone have any way that I can find a cheap kit??? Please help!

There are no G1 rear seat kits available. The main reason is because the body tilts back for access to the engine compartment. I don't know if you can buy one from another year and make it work.....I'm sure it will need some kind of fab work done to it. Probably a gamble.

I custom made rear seats for both of my G1s. That's what most do.

I made my front and rear bench seat. No welding.

Hip handles and backs are EZGo parts. I used these as size templates for cutting 3/4" MG plywood and green foam (Jo Ann Fabrics). I then covered with vinyl and stapled to back of plywood.

I used 2" x 3/16" steel strips painted with bed-liner paint for the back supports, and mounted with nut-serts/bolts thru existing frame holes.

These are comfy and work great. Only down side is the body is heavy to lift.

The G1 is an old cart, and an oddball to boot being a 2 stroke with a flip up body. Unfortunately most G1's are long gone and dead by now, so the aftermarket support is not there. It's possible to make some parts from other carts work, but you just won't find a ton of parts for the G1 specifically.

You can do small buckets: like boat or tractor seats bolted straight to the body. Back bumper can be used as the footrest.

Yup that does work. I also used the "bed seats" from a Subaru Brat lol. They have OS Handles and everything.
