Modifying 1990 G2 muffler

Question to The New Guy, did you have to rejet the carb after the Muffler mod ?
if so, where did you find the jets?

Yes, also added a K&N air filter. I bought stock jets from CPP www.cartpartsplus.com/ and opened the ID using reamers until I got it right. The size for the main jet that worked for my setup was .042-.043 inch.

I bought a few different jets for my G9 from niche-cycle via ebay, they were $4 each.

Genuine Mikuni SBN Carburetor Small Round Size 130 Main Jet N102.221/130

I ended up with 140 jet with k & n style Air filter.
