92 EZGO 2 stroke carb
I have this 92
e-z-go 2 stroke. The old carb the needle would stick, if you let it sit for any period of time it wouldn't start or if it did start it would run out of fuel. I bought a brand spankin NEW carb for it. (They DO NOT produce a rebuild kit) The NEW carb has the SAME issue with the needle sticking. It has a new filter and fresh pre-mix. What could be causing the needle to stick? Could the fuel pump NOT have enough pressure? |

Re: 92 EZGO 2 stroke carb
sounds like a weak fuel pump to me , had the same condition about 2 years ago an an 83 , compression was weak but I got 3 more months out of it with an electric pump , am building a 3pg now for my 89 and it has a bad fuel pump on it , I drilled a 6mm bolt down the center and screwed it into the block where the pump is mounted and plan to go with a much cheaper briggs pump .
