Interesting reading ... hopefully the next advancement in EV battery technology will increase efficiency and decrease costs to make it more competitive to internal combustion engines. Still a long way to go but progress is being made.

As far as cost, I think crashed cars would probably be our best bet, so we need more early adopters to go crash.
