Signal pin on charger receptacle
I am doing an upgrade on a 1992 Yamaha G8E and I am currently installing a new charger receptacle. There are 3 wires on the one I purchased. Where does the 3rd wire (signal wire) go to? Does it go anywhere?

In your case probably not. It is designed to disable the car when on charge. Neither your car or charger will know what to do with it.
