Yes he is. Now that's what I am talking about. See how it ties everything together??? That looks fantastic. I love it

So is that paint a single stage paint with clear in it or are you clear coating it yourself? It's very very glossy for rattle can paint. I really like it. I am still trying to think of stuff for my cart. I got the SRT-8 badges finally and got the one on the back put on. I need to grind down the clips on the front badge then put it on. Still need a sport windshield and batteries but waiting on Terry and Bob to finish his sport windshield so I can rob his idea

I clear coated with the same brand. You were right, it looks much better. Here's a teaser pic...test fitting dash.

I didnt know you got the one legged dash. When did you plan on telling me this Bill? I told you secretes don't get along well with me So what do you have in store for the dash? I am thinking some silver coned speakers and painting the included grill orange? I have some pioneer grilles that I can send you if you want to use them for mock up purposes.....

The Infinity marine speakers I'm using have a gray/silver grill that I think will match the gray/silver in my paint. Everything I read about destroying the factory dash to use the VIP dash was true. Of course it came with no instructions Look like the dash covers up the rivets that hold the front on so it will have to go on after the front . Not sure how I'm gonna run all the wiring. But Santa brought the dash yesterday so I will make it work.

What's the model number of the Infinity speakers? Mine aren't marine grade, but I have Infinity Reference 6022i, 6-½” 2 Way Speakers, 2.65 Ohms, 60 Watt RMS, 180 Watt Peak. They sound great, and with the really low impedance, they really suck the power out of the head unit.

Yes you do have to destroy the factory dash. I have installed 2 on a txt and 1 on an ST.
