Re: OLD BLUE,85 marathon re-construction
belive me,,ive thought about mounting my 26inch bullpup on the handle bars but even with a cover on it,and the firing pin removed i would prob get a lot of heat from the on lookers lol
but yes,i always think guns on every vehicle i get in lol.. my 3 loves,,guns gold and gears used to be guns, gold, and harley davidsins |

Re: OLD BLUE,85 marathon re-construction
took the cart for a ride as its been a while since even starting it..ran great, everything same as before..the 3 link kicks butt and the jakes lt is doing its job nicely..
1 hr ride and my back and neck are screwed,,gettin older has its moments lol. re painted the bike to sell..its running sweet but cant take the pain of a simple ride every now and then so trading it off.. http://ocala.craigslist.org/mcy/3993145986.html |

Re: OLD BLUE,85 marathon re-construction
Looks like it may pay for the next cart, so that monster motor has something to go in.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble enjoying the KLX250. Really nice bike buy the way. I agree with you on the reliability and service life of those KLX250's. I had a 98' KLX300R that was more geared toward Offroad and I never tagged it. Similar motors and torquey.
Good luck on the sell. |
