[QUOTE=sportcoupe;1036171]I know what you mean about a bunch of 12v Trojans. I have 6 12v in a 72v cart I recently built. It's heavy. This cart is so light and pushes so easily I can't wait to apply the juice to it. Probably next weekend. My motor shipped today.

I can't wait to hear how this thing runs! Looks awesome, great job.

I dropped a wrench under mine. Wasn't pretty. Unless you like sparks and such! It didn't do too much damage.

Good point. I didn't see one on their website, and I meant to call them today, but didn't get a chance. Right now I am charging my 96 v pack as two separate 48 v packs. I need to find out if this will work on a lithium pack.

120 volts and you are in EV territory, not golf cart territory.

Elcon comes to mind, expensive (for a golf cart) but fairly cheap and they will program it to your needs. Nissan Leaf cells are not LiFePo4 and require slightly more voltage. Recommended is 4.2v per cell (8.4v per Leaf module) at constant voltage until current drops below 1A.

Elcon charger.

An excellent forum for homebuilt EV info (cars). You can find more lithium chargers here.

Amazing build, question: what are you using for a Lipo voltage cutoff so you don't ruin the cells?

My guess would be the controller, Some controllers have a low voltage cut off that you can program. Same as RC Cars

Voltage cutoff during charge or discharge? For charge, the battery charger limits voltage to 4.2v per cell. For discharge, the controller will limit minimum voltage. I am still debating on how low I want to take the batteries under load.

Discharge. That is awesome if the controllers now have a low volt shutdown. I would check specs but in the rc world, I usually set shut off at 3.5 volts per cell. Especially on larger packs that might not get balanced each charge.
