Default Thoughts on this cart

1996 EZGO 4 Caddie gas golf cart. Jake's 6" spindle lift on 22" tires that are 6 ply. It has a new drive clutch with a 28 degree high torque driven clutch and high torque belt.

What are your thoughts on this cart? any issues with these?

The 295 is a very smooth running engine and with the 28deg DC as well as a shorter belt makes for a fun to drive setup. The spindle lift is decent (if it's definitely a Jakes) but really doesn't smooth things out offroad much (then again, a long-travel suspension that DOES really add smoothness and off-road capability will run You around a grand so the majority of people deal with the rough ride and just use spindle or drop-axle lift kits) ... The 6-ply tires are a good thing, the more plies the less sidewall flex You'll get ... The 1996 engines are pre-MCI so parts are cheap, troubleshooting is easy ...

As to known issues, there really are none that stand out, like I said the Fuji/Robin twins are an incredibly reliable engine. Those flip rear seats tend to rattle a lot off-road, but that's an easily-remedied "inconvenience" and not a real "issue" LOL - I say "Go for It", it's a good cart by design
