EzGo resistor Cart
What material is the resistor made of?
and is there anyone out there that has an old resistor and and speed controller/swipe arm left over from an upgrade they would be willing to let go real cheap? |

Re: EzGo resistor Cart
You can buy them new real cheap too they are just spring steel coils. Each one is a different diameter and length... Replace only with identicle parts
Which one(s) are you needing? |

Re: EzGo resistor Cart
I would start with a simple motor test and then post the manufacture # so we can tell what year it si? And a pic or two of the cart and battery bay.....If you provide that info we will be able to help.....put the cart on blocks or stands for this test...... click on the image to enlarge You can test with as little as 12 volts.

Re: EzGo resistor Cart
No they are not. They are a special material. If they weren't then how would they limit power.
