Default New L6 72 volt SLOW...

Got a new 72 volt L6 last Friday. Does anyone have experience with these yet? Very disappointed that ezgo decided to limit to 16 mph and very conservative acceleration settings onthe controller. I am being told the controller is completely locked down and there is no option to increase top end or acceleration short of a new controller which at this time doesn't exist for this cart. Does anyone have any info to the contrary?

It may be locked down for doing anything with a handset, but if it's a Curtis controller, my programming station laptop can probably get it to do tricks...

Where are you located, Atlanta? I'm about 3 hours north of Atlanta.
