Storing my cart
I have a 2009 Club Car Precedent with (6) 8V batteries. I am storing it in my non-heated garage. I can plug in my charger. Since it won't be used again until April should the Run/Tow switch be in the Tow position for the duration?

Re: Storing my cart
Will you be there to check the water levels every couple weeks?
If not, I would remove the battery cables, and leave it off the charger. |

Re: Storing my cart
What is the average ambient temp where you are in the winter? Batts here, [average temp around 20f in winter] never need water. In fact I just replaced my Trojan black box pack and they needed water only once a couple months ago and we had a very hot summer.

Re: Storing my cart
Thanks for the two replies but my question is in what position should I leave the Run/Tow switch. Maybe it doesn't make any difference. I just want to find out what is best.

Re: Storing my cart
Tow/Run definitely on Tow to reduce drain on the batteries.
