Curtis vs Danaher Run Time
Just upgraded from a 2011 to 2014 RXV. Mostly because I wanted a Curtis controller. I'm running a lift and 23x7 tires on 10" wheels. Batteries are 1yr old Trojans. My 2011 was basically the same setup.
I'm struggling with run time on this newer cart. Even with 4yr old batteries my 2011 would got 5+ more miles on a charge. Both carts were programed to high. The 2012 seemed a touch faster to on top end. Not that big a deal though. More concerned about the run time and distance. Turkey season is fast approaching and I need to figure this out pretty quick. Batts at full charge are showing just shy of 52V. All Batts read the same voltage when measure at stand still. Should I have them load tested? Thanks for any info and help! Re: Curtis vs Danaher Run Time
Measure battery voltage 12 hours after full charge without using cart, also each battery.
Voltage under load then again after it rest after use ,but before charging. What are the amp hour specs of batteries. This makes a difference in run time also. |
