Default Accessory battery switch

Has anyone wired an accessory batter and used a switch to kill all power from the battery when not in use? Would like to know how you did it and how it’s working out

Would like to be able to install a 12v display on the dash to see voltage on accessory battery but kill the display when not in use

I'm guessing that you could go with something like this
https://www.amazon.com/UTSAUTO-Batte...ateway&sr=8-29

Unless you wanted to get fancy and use something like this

https://www.amazon.com/WATERWICH-Wir...21-spons&psc=1

I'm sure that someone on here has done it, it will be interesting to see what they say.

This is my battery disconnect switch. I have all my lights wired to a fuse panel which is fed from a remote 12 volt battery. I shut it off during the day when I'm not using the lights.
https://www.amazon.com/Cllena-Curren...%2C131&sr=8-20 This is not the exact one i used, but similar.

I just used a toggle switch on the + side and mounted it out of the way.
