That is correct. You will need to replace it ASAP. The link I supplied you is for OEM replacement and not aftermarket clones.

I stopped by my local cart shop where i bought the cart and got a speed sensor on my way home. Put a few miles on the cart, seems to have been the fix. Thanks guys!

Absolutely, positively, unequivocally love them! Then I will take a D&D or for Sepex motors only, the FSIP's are really good.
