Welcome to the forum! What are your needs with the cart? I believe that motor is 2hp - 2800rpm, which is a little more torquey than the higher RPM motors. If you're going to remove that motor, double wrench the nuts so you don't break it, and expect the armature to be stuck to the spline of the rearend. At the bare minimum, plan on replacing the cables, as you likely have old, less efficient ones now.
How's the rest of the cart? What are your ultimately plans? Set that goal now, including a realistic budget, and work towards that goal. Does it have batteries? If not, look into upgrading to 48v. Lots of great resources here, especially the old timers like MC. You'll learn quick to listen to certain folks when they offer advice. :) |
