Make sure youre wiring is right!! Maybe your wires are mixed up??? If not in your case the only other thing it really could be is your controller.

Just had a guy in the shop today that he had his motor wires backwards. Had the same problem!

wires were never off motor, just end batts to replace. this cart goes the same speed in both forward and reverse. what does dcs stand for.

DCS = Drive Control System

It is EZ-Go's first attempt at a regenerative braking cart. Alltrax makes a nice replacement unit for that controller, between $300-400.
