Thoughts on an EZ Go TXT
I will have the opportunity to purchase an EZ Go TXT at an upcoming auction. I don't know the year but its in great cosmetic shape. The batteries are Trojans. On the first battery it looks like the positive terminal has melted. All the battery cables look rusty. It has the charger with it. What do you think a fair price would be. I don't know if it runs because of the melted terminal. Thanks

Re: Thoughts on an EZ Go TXT
In an auction situation you have to assume the batteries are toast. There may well be other problems also. I find that the cart stops running for one reason and then the batteries die .... But you might get lucky? Take a voltmeter to the inspection. They are great carts. I bid $300-400 tops

I agree with Scottyb, I guess it depends on how much you are willing to spend on the cart.

Re: Thoughts on an EZ Go TXT
We sell and have a lot of expirience with EZ-GO TXT golf carts. We have been very pleased with the EZ-GO TXT PDS, regen, systems. They run great and have awesome power. I feel the EZ-GO's also have the best styling of the three.
