Thank you.
3wheeler just won't work where I live because of the high center of the roads. They are one lane & soft sand.
I will end up with two complete 3wheelers both 36v. One of the two I will put the 4wheel 1977 Marathon front end on.
And will have to do the basic upgrade to get more torque to get up the hill to my house & even further up the hill to visit neighbors.
I know the donor Marathon is a 1977 & one of the 3wheelers is a 1979. Neither of them are in my yard yet. But the second 3wheeler I pick up tonight & so will be able to post the numbers off it & find out the year, model, series, etc.

First 3 wheeler is in my yard.

So I'm guessing its a 1981 Marathon.

The guy had another EZGO there that was bad rusted but rear end was intact. Ask him how much & after alittle barter paid $40 for it. Go get it tomorrow. I think its a 1980.

The guy that I'm getting both the 80 & 81 from said the 80 ran almost twice as fast as the 81. No signs that the 80 ever had a roof on it which explains it being in such bad shape being left outside. So I'm wondering if the 80 might have been a picker. Any thoughts?

Probably had a better pot box / wiper board assembly for the speed difference. Better meaning less worn. May also be motor brushes, batteries, resistors, just about anything - They've had 30 years of wear and tear...

I figured for $40 cash it was worth it for the motor & rear end.

Sheet metal shows that at one time this 1980 had a roof on it.
