Wiring a new Alltrax 4855 Cont for Ez-GO
I just bought a Alltrax AXE 4855 500 amp controller for a 2004 Ez-GO TXT FLeet cart non pds/dcs. I wired it all up and thought everything would be good but i have nothing. The LED light will not come on. I asked if it wired up just like the stock controller and that did not work so i looked at there wiring diagrams on Alltrax website and tried to wire it like them and i still have nothing. I have power to the controller but no LED, when i turn it on nothing. Can someone please help me out and wire this thing right.

Re: Wiring a new Alltrax 4855 Cont for Ez-GO
Not sure what it is missing but I did a similar install so let's go over this:
A2 of motor to top center lug of FnR switch A1 of motor to M- of controller S2 of motor to Left lug of FnR switch S1 of motor to Right lug of FnR switch B+ of controller bottom center lug of Fnr switch B+ of controller left lug of solenoid ( as you are looking at it mounted on controller) B- to NEG of Battery Pack B- to right small post of solenoid (same as above) Pin 1 Key switch Red to left small post of solenoid Red wire from of left small post of solenoid to ITS Right larger post of solenoid to POS of battery pack Diode should have silver band to left, as above between two smaller posts Should have pre-charge resistor between two larger lugs of solenoid Black wire from beeper to small right post of solenoid Check your connections and let us know. Can you verify that you have 48v positive power to the #1 small terminal on the controller?

I have the cart wired exactly how you have it but i have B+ to the right post of the solenoid as you look at it and i have the left post to the positive of the battery will that make a difference?

I wired it like that on the cart I built, but talked with tech support from Alltrax and they told me that it does not matter...
