Default clutch rebuild/cleaning tips

Anyone got any tips or pointers for this rookie? I have the clutch off this G16 (finally!!) and made a 3-prong spanner tool to remove the spider. Clutch looks decent except for the rollers and a lot of crud. The weights, pins, bushings, etc. seem pretty good. I'm wondering about re-assembly, type of grease or other lubricant (??) to use, etc.. I've read lots of posts. Most caution against too much grease, but not much else.

Any pointers are appreciated.

Two options, Buy a new style Yamaha spider/roller kit (125.00) or aftermarket rollers (make shure you ask for metal, not plastic) @ 30.00 each. I recomend only grease for the bushings on the sliding sheave. Use some "loctite" on the spider/fixed sheave as you screw it back on. Good luck Dave
