Yamaha sells two cycel oil. and 2; they tell you to mix first tank of gas so oil has chance to work through hoses. to check I was told to jack it up /after run awhile\ start it then pull oil line from carb. and see if you have oil.it will be just a pin amount be a splash sistem.

The exact location of the oil feed nipple on the carb varies a bit from year to year, but there should only be one spot for that little line to attach. The other fitting would be for your fuel inlet. Install a new piece of clear line from the pump to the carb and you can see if the pump is working. Be sure to use a high-quality AIR-COOLED 2-cycle oil, not outboard motorboat oil, not 4-stroke oil. If you can get Yamaha brand oil, that is great, but a quality snowmobile oil is fine. I use Castrol, available at local autoparts stores.
