Any body doing anything different?

Keeps them looking nice.
Where is the tow switch located?

He either has a DCS or PDS cart, they have a run/tow switch on top of there controller box, looks like you have a TXT/Series cart, which is why you do not have one.

A leaf blower after washing is a great idea. So is an application of tire shine to the entire battery bay.
What do you use to protect the terminals from corrosion? Whatever it is, its invisible! Armor-all?

Can't speak for Gormomon , but, so far, I haven't had to use any protector. Just keep 'em, clean and tight.

I use aerosol battery protectant, but I spray it into the cap and paint it on with a small brush. This picture shows a need for a fresh coat for sure.

wow, didnt know you could hose them down....

So baking soda mix first, let it sit a few, then low pressure hose off?

seems pretty easy...

Actually, it is pretty easy. I keep mine clean so I don't use the baking soda much. When I do, I wash them off with the water hose. Sprinkle some baking soda over the wet batteries and let it sit for about 15 minutes then hose 'em down.

Do this when I see them get a little dusty depending on where I've been driving.

If you don't do this you'll wind up with a scrub brush and yucky batteries.

Talking Re: Battery cleaning time

OK.... I did it. I spent 5 hours cleaning my batteries. Pulled them out (man.... are those heavy!) cleaned the battery tray, cleaned post and cable ends and rotated batteries. What a job.... I'm glad I did it. Thanks for the wise advise.
