Default 2000 txt pds torque problems

I have a 2000 txt pds cart the only thing left stock under the seat is cables going to motor and motor. The cart has new batteries that I been broke in correctly. alltrax 400 controler, 4 guage cables, HD soleniod. The cart will fly 27mph on level ground but it does not accelerate at a pace equal to other country club carts i have driven. also when I am playing golf it has trouble getting started on hills. I did check the temp of motor when I got home and the motor was still hot to the touch so that lead me to believe the motor is the problem since that is where the heat is. Please someone help me fix this issue this cart has turned into a money pit and still problematic.

It looks like maybe the controler is set up for speed and not so much for TQ?

This cart should have decent torque and acceleration. Are the tires real tall? The motor could be wearing out. Send it to PQ for a Torque rewind.... or buy bigger, better, new motor from PQ
