'05 PDS Not Moving
I purchased a super clean '05 PDS yesterday (Pumped to finally have a GC!) but after getting home the cart would not back off the trailer. It is a very basic cart. Just like you would find when you go to the golf course. I test drove it for 5 minutes or so before purchasing and everything was fine! Forward, reverse, no clicks or knocks, tight steering, good power uphill. Like I said, loaded it on the trailer drove two hours home and nothing. When the switch is turned to Rev the alarm will sound but nothing happens. I did that diagnostic test by switching to "Tow" mode but it produced nothing. That was all I tried last night but hopefully you guys may have some things for me to try before calling on a shop.... Thanks ahead of time.

Re: '05 PDS Not Moving
Possibly a bad battery connection, make sure they are clean and tight.
Did you scrape the bottom loading on the trailer, if so, check the throttle wires under the cart. How about checking with the person you bought it from, there maybe a trick to it? |

Re: '05 PDS Not Moving
Can you put the cart into diagnostic mode? Key off/ cart in Neutral. Switchto reverse & back to neutral 5 times. listen for a series of beeps. The pattern of beeps will repeat until you flip the tow switch off. Tell us what the pattern is like 2-1 or ?

Re: '05 PDS Not Moving
Yeah I got home late and briefly looked over the cart but considering I don't know much about them I didn't mess with anything. I contacted the seller (older gentleman) and he said that there hadn't been any problems with it. The cart is in emacualte condidition. No corrosion to be seen. I did perform the test last night as I had read about it but I got no results. Seems to me that some connection must be loose because it ran fine when I test drove it, I put it on the tailer and drove it home and it wouldn't do anything. I plan to check connections better this afternoon and will let you guys know what happens. Thanks.
