wheel spacer help!!!!
Hey guys just a few questions about wheel spacers.I see 2 different types.one is the spacer with larger machined usually billet steel that goes over the lugs.two is just simple and basic just a threaded lug adapter with no fancy billet steel.(much cheaper). What is the differnce between the two.Im on a tight budget so the cheaper is better for me.thanks Mike

Re: wheel spacer help!!!!
the large billet spacer is a lot stronger, where the ones that look like studs could twist under a load, so I've been told... if any way possible i would use the solid ones

Re: wheel spacer help!!!!
I just installed the billet ones. I love them. It really gives the cart a wide stance. It is much more stable and the ride is better. I did have to install fender flares after putting them on. The tires were so far outside the body. Mud and dirt was flying everywhere. You can email me at

Re: wheel spacer help!!!!
The main thing to think about is what the cart is used for. If it's on the street then the Lug extenders are fine for normal use. If it's for off roading I'd use the billet spacers.
I have been running the lug extenders on my 55MPH drag cart now for a year with no problems! |
