Thanks ezgoing888!!!! Checked the front of the throttle cable in the control box as you outlined. Mine was out, just like you described. Pushed the cable back in and adjusted the slack in the rear by the engine, following your directions. Went from 17mph to 21mph on handheld GPS with factory 22x11x10 tires @ 15psi.

There is still slack in the cable, and it still hangs out in the control box. I really don't want any more top end speed. I'm interested to know if you took all of the slack out of the cable. What speed did you get?

Thanks for your directions!!!!

2011 ST sport 2+2. Kawasaki 13hp.

Just adjusting it all in the back in to take up the slack got me up to 25mph. I turned it back down to 20ish. I think it would have gone faster since there was more adjustment. Wonder why the factory doesn't catch this design flaw in the swedge?

Yes, I too still have slack in the back but the front end of the cable in the box does not get hung up anymore. I did adjust all the cable slack out just to see how fast i could go. was able to trigger the governer but did not have my gps to calculate top end. Lets just say it was fast enough. May run the expieriment at a later date with gps. I have 10"custom wheels with low profile tires. Most driving for this cart is on asphalt no off roading.
