Default ezgo charger wont go on

i figured the batteries were too low. so i charged all 6, 6volt batteries, 2 at a time with an automatic shut off type 12volt charger til the charger kicked off and the green light indicating a full charge has been obtained was on. BUT the ezgo 36 volt charger that came with my 93 ezgo wont turn on when plugged in. batteries are all new. charger was working fine earlier.

Welcome to BWG!

Check for battery voltage at the Cart's Charger Receptacle. (Should be a bit over 38V if the 12V charger did its job. )

If it is over about 30V, the problem is in the charger. (Does the relay click?)
If it is less than about 30V or zero, the problem is in the cart. (Wires from receptacle wired to wrong batteries, wires from receptacle to batteries reversed, fuse in wire between receptacle and batteries blown and things like that)

To further troubleshoot cart and/or charger, we need to know what they are.

Plug the serial number into this website and it'll tell you what the cart is.

Model name and number of charger - or a picture of faceplate.

Since you've got new batteries, be sure to fully charge them prior to first use and then break them in properly to get max storage capacity.
If you haven't already, read the break-in procedure here, and wjile you are on the site, read everything with the word "Battery" in the title.
